ROATAN, HONDURAS - Coxen Hole
We visited Roatan, Honduras during our Norwegian Cruise with friends! It is an island off the northern coast of Honduras. The island sits on an exposed coral reef that rises to almost 900 feet above sea level, very near to the Carribbean's largest reef - the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Our cruise ship ported in Coxen Hole which is the largest town on the island. There is a second cruise port at Mahogany Bay.

While on the island you can enjoy gorgeous sand beaches and azure blue water, a Marine Park, Animal Preserve, Botanical Gardens, Dolphin Encounter and Hiking (our favorite)! Check out our photos!
